Introduction to each database

The CINAHL series is a fundamental database for nursing. It includes all nursing journals and publications issued by the National League for Nursing and the American Nurses' Association, as well as information on healthcare-related books, nursing theses, conference proceedings, foundational nursing practice guides, and educational software and videos. The database covers a broad range of fields related to nursing, including nursing, clinical medicine, health sciences, alternative medicine, and consumer health, among 17 related areas, providing essential information for nursing professionals.

CINAHL Complete is a comprehensive database offering convenient access to over 700 active full-text journals spanning various disciplines in nursing and allied health, along with evidence-based care sheets, quick lessons, and more.

The Educational Resource Information Center (ERIC) is a comprehensive secondary information database providing extensive resources on education. Produced by the U.S. Department of Education's National Library of Education, it covers educational research and information from 1966 onwards. ERIC contains bibliographic records for over 1.47 million articles from education journals and education-related publications.

The PubMed database contains more than 37 million citations and abstracts of biomedical literature. It does not include full text journal articles; however, links to the full text are often present when available from other sources, such as the publisher's website or PubMed Central (PMC).
