Application Guidelines for International Students

(1) Check application eligibility

Check your qualification for admission to the Doctoral Program, Kansai Medical University
from the following "Doctoral Program Application Eligibility". 

If the applicant only meets requirement (2), individual preliminary screening (hereinafter
referred to as "eligibility screening” will be conducted in order to be qualified for admission.)

(2) Prepare and submit application documents

Prepare application documents by referring to the following "List of application documents".
Some documents have specified formats, so please download them from below. 
"Research fields 2023" which is necessary to complete the application form is also available
from below. 

After completing all the documents, please submit the data of application documents
by e-mail to gradumed(at)hirakata.kmu.ac.jp by deadline, Friday, November 17, 2023.
(Please replace "(at)" with "@" when sending e-mail.)

*Required documents are different for applicants who need eligibility screening and those
who do not.
 *If you need eligibility screening, the deadline should be different from the above. Please
contact the Office of Graduate School in advance for more details.  


(3) Pay the application fee

Please transfer the application fee (5,000 JPY) during the application period, Tuesday,
October 10, 2023 – Friday, November 17, 2023 to the specified bank account. 

Refer to following "List of application documents" for the back account information.

Please note that application fee is not refundable in any cases.

(4) Entrance Examination

Entrance examination will be conducted by the supervising professor of your preferred
research field based on your application documents. Detail of the examination will be
informed after your application.
