KMU Temmabashi General Clinic

A Clinic Providing Preventive Medical Care and Regional Medical Care

Clinic Overview

The Clinic was started as Osaka Merchandise Mart Medical Center in 1969 and changed its name to Kansai Medical University Temmabashi General Clinic through integration with Kansai Medical University in 2012. At present, it consists of outpatient departments of internal medicine, ophthalmology, dermatology, radiology, and breast surgery and the General Diagnostics Center.
The General Diagnostics Center, which receives over 20,000 people/year for medical examinations, is certified as an excellent general facility for medical examinations by the Japan Society of Health Evaluation and Promotion. Since preventive medical care is becoming increasingly important with the superannuation of Japan’s population, we aim to become a medical examination center that can flexibly respond to varied needs of patients.
The outpatient departments have a system in place to provide medical care ranging from primary care to specialized medical care by specialists. We are focused on providing seamless medical care to people with abnormal results identified by the General Diagnostic Center, and we are focused on becoming primary care physicians who are readily accessible by people from neighboring areas and after work.
We also continue to accept residents as a venue for them to learn preventive medical care in practice.
