Learning Features

The Master’s Program of the Graduate School of Nursing aims to explore research issues related to nursing practice and nursing education based on clinical experience to contribute to the transformation of nursing practice for the quality of daily lives of people and offers 3 courses: The “Advanced Practical Nurse Course” to foster specialists with advanced practical skills, the “Clinical Nurse Educator Course” to help develop the skills of nursing professionals, and the “Researcher Course” to explore research issues rooted in practice. Upon completion of the program, students will be equipped with the basic skills as practitioners and researchers who can lead to changes in nursing practices.
The Doctoral Program of the Graduate School of Nursing conducts independent research to devise nursing practices and foster personnel who will engage in education and research by looking ahead to future nursing science and offers programs in the four fields of nursing fundamentals, community health nursing, lifelong development, and therapeutic nursing

Curriculum of the Graduate School of Nursing

The Graduate School of Nursing offers programs in the four fields of nursing fundamentals, community health nursing, lifelong development, and therapeutic nursing to foster professionals with knowledge from a broad perspective. Covering 12 areas in these 4 fields, the curriculum of the Master’s Program has been designed to cultivate basic capabilities as practitioners and researchers. Specifically, students will study basic theories to support practice in common courses and the class on research methodologies to cultivate extensive knowledge, skills, morals, and a sense of humanity. Each area includes specialized courses to cultivate nursing skills with specialized knowledge and skills that encompass the lives, health, and everyday lives of people. The Doctoral Program offers common courses to study nursing theories and research methodologies, the foundation to acquire the ability to contribute to the academic development of nursing through education and research in respective fields, as well as special seminars and seminars to gain greater knowledge in specialized fields. In addition, there are lectures and practicum on various research methodologies to cultivate the ability to conduct independent research.
